Update, 2/12: Co-producer of this year's Oscars, Craig Zadan, announced via Twitter that Lady Gaga will be performing a special tributeat the ceremony. While it hasn't been stated which song the singer will be performing, or who the tribute will be for, Zadan stated her number would be, "a very special performance."

Update, 2/11: Despite being snubbed in the Best Actress category for her performancein Cake, Jennifer Aniston will still play a role in the ceremony as a presenter.David Oyelowo (considered to have been snubbed for his role in Selma), Sienna Miller, Kerry Washington, Octavia Spencer andChris Pratt will also present, Entertainment Weeklyreports.

Original Post, 10/15: He's the Renaissance man of performance, with a hit TV show, Tony-winning musical and blockbuster film under his belt in 2014 alone. Now, Neil Patrick Harris will take those skills to live TV when he hosts the Academy Awards on February 22, 2015. The actor shared the news on Twitter this afternoon, Variety reports, with a short video of himself checking "Host the Oscars" off his bucket list. Watch below.
