But Janet Jackson gave Michael quite the sign of respect as she celebrated what would have been his 60th birthday with a tribute to the late king of pop, according to TMZ.
The 52-year-old songstress recorded a video with Kwaylon Rogers which showed Janet as a queen 'passing judgement on dancers', much like Iman in Michael's masterpiece Remember the Time.

The minute-long clip features Janet in full queen regalia with heavy gold bead work around her neck flowing into a feathery black frock.

Kway reportedly met Janet at the Billboard Awards earlier this year and pitched the concept of the video as a nod to her brother.
With Diamond Batiste behind the camera, the group reportedly rehearsed for a day before shooting the video to Janet's liking.
The reimagined video, with Kway and King Bach playing the dancers, was always intended to be released on what would've been Michael's 60th birthday.
Remember the Time was Michael's second single from his eighth studio album, and the song was released on Jan. 14, 1992.
