This company has been terrible to communicate with and do not seem to care about their customers. I have called for weeks looking to get in contact with the billing department. I got the same run around “ I’ll have someone call you in the morning” . No one will call you back. I even left a message to billing an not a response. Emails were sent out and I should get a call still never did. All I wanted was a phone call to answer when my check would be deposited. Worst experience ever with customer service and communication. I would never use them again. Very disappointed!!

I'm a Comfy Club member, and the regular maintenance check-ups always go well. The technicians are friendly, thorough, and always answer my questions well (and I ask a lot of questions). The most recent appointment with Kyle gets me writing. He was especially friendly and helpful. Along with the usual good service I have grown accustomed to, Kyle went above the call of duty in a unique way. The vent to my dryer happens to be above my AC unit outside. Kyle noticed a bumblebee buzzing around the vent and offered to check the vent to make sure bees were not taking up residence there. Fortunately, they were not, but Kyle found the remnants of an old bird nest and cleaned it out.

The customer service line told me when I made my appointment 10/12. Which to me meant they would be here between those times . Then I receive a text that states 10/5 arrival time. I called and the representative wasn’t very nice and you could tell he wasn’t having a good morning, probably because he didn’t explain the arrival procedure correctly to more then one person.

Took 1 day to get here. Managed to restart Pilot light on Water heater no parts replaced. Did not receive invoice for services performed. Still waiting on Estimate to replace actual water heater. Was supposed to send it to my email address that I provided.I will say he was professional while here and showed me what he was doing and what he did. Just need invoice and estimate.

I had a toilet that constantly ran. He was able to replace the 0 ring but the problem was not yet resolved. He spent time and continued to diagnose the issue and realized that the ring was not sitting properly and once adjusted, the problem was fixed. Called around noon for a mysterious leak from the shower. Call was taken by Mark - extremely professional, well-spoken, collected basic info and then informed me that George was able to meet in a window between 2-7pm (seemingly large window) but would call thirty minutes prior to arrival for a bit better notice. George arrived shortly after 2 and after a little up and down tracking the water sources, he had it pegged. He offered to run to the store for the items necessary for repair and return to fix it, same day. All-in-all, it was roughly two hours of the day and $350 to solve and fix. Excellent experience, no pain, no fuss, highly recommend.

I called in the morning and explained what happened with my hot water heater. They informed me someone would be contacting me and gave me a time that they would be at my home. I had a great experience with the office people as well as the installer. The installer was excellent and very polite. All that were involved took our needs seriously, they went above normal standards to take care of us when we needed it the most. They stayed in contact with me the whole way. They were so friendly and personable. For a company they spoke and treated us like neighbors. They was quick to respond. When the job was set to be done on a Monday they offered window units to care for us till then. And even had a unit air shipped and got the project moved up to a Saturday because they knew we had two medical needs living in the house who were fragile to heat. I simply adored the service from start to end.

Technician was professional, courteous also knowledgeable if your products and well known competitors. He spoke with my husband and I without having us (the consumers) feel misled or pressured to overspend. The basem*nt drain in the house I just bought had long ago forgotten it was a drain. After 2 trips to the hardware store, and 2 days of toiling in the basem*nt instead of unpacking; I called Dauenhauer. Angela in the office was a delight, and hooked me up with Zack Hamm, who, in less than 90 minutes, was at my door. I never stood a chance against the 30 ft clog that Zack cleared in maybe an hour. After cleaning the slight mess that was mostly made by me, and running a test to ensure the problem was resolved, he even let the dogs meet him on the way out! That was truly exceptional service!Thanks!

My husband and I just want to say how happy we are with your service. Elvis came out to look at our water heater. I had already told him I thought we needed a new one. He checked everything and said it looked good, reset a breaker that had tripped and said to watch it and he would check back with us. He called us that night to see if the water heater was still working...which it was. The next day, the breaker had tripped again and I contacted Elvis. We ended up replacing the water heater, which was the right thing to do since it was over 18 years old. We appreciate SO much that he was completely honest with us on Day 1, checking everything and suggesting we may not have to replace the unit. Although we had to replace it anyway, the fact that he tried other options is very honest and very impressive. He was super friendly and we felt very confident with his abilities and service. I had a Natural gas leak repaired, Mark did an excellent job at my home making all the needed repairs and also worked with LG&E to get the gas back on and now everything works again. I Would definitely call again in the future

Frank Nutter did a great job installing a new water heater at my house today. If the water were hot, why would I need a hot water heater?

During a straightforward bathroom remodel, Dauenhauer installed the shower valve as far forward as possible so the handle has 1 of valve exposed. A supervisor said the valves sometimes do that and would not make any offer to correct.The rest of the remodel was fine.

Was fast honest and very professional did a great job.

I called Dauenhauer when my AC started blowing warm air instead of cold. They sent a technician super fast, and got my system up and running in no time. My technician was Robby. Mat Moore made the difference. He thought that he was facing a small problem that turned out to be much worse. Instead of doing half a job, he cleared his schedule across two days and executed the complete repair. He delivered my idea of professionalism - thoughtful, thorough, and managing risks. What might have become an expensive blow up has now been transformed into a routine home maintenance task.

Everyone I talked to was friendly and polite. I called to arrange for someone to clean out my parents drain and within two or three hours there was someone there to fix the problem. He wore shoe covers, gloves and a mask which put my parents at ease. He was very careful to discuss the problem and our options and was patient while I explained it all to my parents who are advanced in age. A portion of their pipes were quite old and he managed to work it clear without damage to the pipes. All that and NO MESS WHAT SO EVER. The price was very reasonable for a weekend emergency. Very satisfied customer.

Johnny the plumber that came to our home did do good work BUT he overcharged us by almost $400. We only had a p-trap leak and our bill was almost $600. It should have been $250. when I called the office they offered a credit BUT had I not called I would have been greatly overcharged. This is an experienced plumber with this company and he should have known better what to charge for this work as the supervisor said there was a fixed charge for this service. Accident? Maybe, maybe not. We will not call them again.

I enjoyed wonderful customer service from individuals that filter their great knowledge to myself the customer. The issue was diagnosed and explained to me in full so I could understand the issue and decide what my options were. Work was performed on all three bathrooms, even some preventative maintenance and I could not be more happy with the outcome.

The tech was fine, but their BILLING department is not professional. I paid the day of service with the check clearing two days after the service. They have continued to Bill me the full amount. I have called on 4 separate occasions giving them the check number. They asked if they should send it through to my bank again!

The technicians were able to schedule us for a hot water replacement the SAME DAY as our service call, on a Saturday!! We were so pleased with the efficiency of this replacement!

Excellent. Always does a excellent job. Heating or plumbing. The Best. I've used both services and they will not leave until they fix the problem. If the first person is unable to fix the problem they will call for backup or more industrial equipment. I've used them for 15 plus years. Never ever disappoint. And the technician all are great. They go over and above to make sure when they leave everything is working properly.

Had a technician come to the house to inspect and replace our garbage disposal. Seath was great and very respectful. I didn't like that we were given a 7 hour time frame in which the tech would arrive so I had to take a whole day off of work. Also, the cost was 3X the price of the new unit because of labor - that may be the going rate but wow, it was very expensive. Seath had to leave twice to get a new unit and then because he didn't have a part. Took hours and hours to complete but he did a great job.

Larry did a good job on installation, very polite, and seemed to know his trade. He also called Rheem about my warranty but what he failed to tell me was that if I did not replace the water heater with another Rheem product then I would get no refund on the water heater that was removed. I found out when I read the fine print when I tried to get the refund. Now I am out $2,000 for a hot water heater that he installed, and the $700 that I paid for the one he replaced.$2,700 is a ridiculous amount of money for hot water. It has left me hesitant to use your company again.

I had a furnace issue, and both the technician that assessed the problem and fixed the problem were fast, knowledgeable and professional. This was high quality service. Worker was contracted via home warranty, so I cannot speak to the pricing.

The Dauenhauer Plumbing team of professionals responded to our plumbing emergency with courtesy, efficiency, and timeliness. Once we reported our situation to their office on a Thursday, the dispatcher immediately set up the appointment the very next day for their estimator, Mike, to evaluate our situation. Mike came as promised and literally got down on his hands and knees bailing out water to get a visual on the problem. He clearly explained where the defect was and what needed to be done to rectify the situation. Once we approved the work to be done, Mike notified appropriate personnel (KY Dig 811) and gave us the window of time when the work could begin which included the immediate weekend. We received a call first thing on Saturday morning that a crew would arrive early Sunday morning. Dan and Jack were promptly on site that morning as promised. In the pouring rain, they got right to work, working in tandem excavating and exposing the site to remove the defective parts and then replaced and upgraded the connection with all brass parts. Connections were tested for leaks before they cleaned up and back-filled the dirt to a safe level on the property. Jack also documented with photos the cracked components and replacement connectors for our records. We could not have asked for a better team in getting this job done!We definitely recommend Dauenhauer for any of your plumbing projects.

They send plenty of notification saying when they are coming and that is important. The tech was very professional, and very efficient. After the job was completed he back back and told me what he found and assure it was corrected.

Had a sewer back up In my shower and around the toilet late at night. One of the only company's that says open 24hrs means open 24hrs. Corey, Daelyn and Austin found the break in my sewer line. Got Clinton and his crew with excavation to fix our line.

We had an emergency situation with a pipe freezing 2 days before Christmas. We were not sure anyone would be available. Austin came out on Christmas Eve and was extremely proficient, got our freeze cleared in less than an hour, and talked us through what we can do to keep from freezing again. Becca was amazing! She immediately found the issue and fixed it very quickly.She was also very professional, wore her mask correctly, and she was very sweet to my dog.I keep my dog crated whenever workers come to the house, but all of the dauenhauer employees that have been to my house have always been fine with her being out and they treat her like she was their own.We needed extensive work done with the gas and water lines once and we felt comfortable leaving Dan and Becca the house key so they could lock up when they were done since we needed to be out while they worked.

Failed twice to correctly diagnose the problem, then failed to send cause of damage documentation for insurance despite being asked repeatedly. They caused over a month delay on my kitchen restoration after the plumbing issue caused water damage, and I still cannot use the kitchen while I wait on them to correct one sentence on the invoice. I have called 5 times to ask for this. I will never use this company again.

I had an extraordinarily tricky water main replacement at a very old home in Louisville, which had me talking to four contractors and navigating insurance. From the first person I spoke to, to the inspector who inspired confidence and finally and heroically, Clinton and Jared who showed up with calm, aplomb, and even swagger into a really difficult job. I'm truly grateful for their work, learned a lot, especially about the value of hard work ethic, plain dealing, and really thorough and kind service. This project, as many are, was a very stressful until they arrived, and I feel so grateful to have found Dauenhauer.

Arrived early, identified the issue, very knowledgeable, worked to secure a good price to solidify the sale. Second time we have worked with him, would recommend his service. He didn't actually repair the HVAC, but identified that it needed replaced.

This was my first experience with Dauenhauer HVAC, and it was a very good one. My technician was Jason and he was very polite and mannerable. He did a great job of explaining to me what the issue was with my AC system. He was wearing a face mask and shoe covers. I am very pleased with the service he provided.

I had Mat come as a precaution since we had a backup a few years ago. He checked the basem*nt and felt it was not necessary to snake things out since not having any problems. He was very knowledgeable.

I had an emergency and even though they weee backed up they made sure they sent someone out the day of me calling. The plumber arrived at 10:30 pm and was finished around 11:15. He was fast in finding the leak and repairing it and it was more than reasonable. Especially considering the time of the day . I was so glad I was able to take my morning shower the next day

Just want to say a Big Thank You to Dauenhauer Plumbing, especially to the technician, Mark Letner. Called LG&E out to the house on Monday because I smelled gas. LG&E ran some test and LG&E fixed something on the meter outside that was on them (the city) and the LG&E guy told me I had some leaks on the inside. They told me to contact a plumber and get the leaks fixed and that they were shutting off the gas. I originally called A & S Plumbing to come out and they never called me back Monday. So Tuesday I reached out to Dauenhauer Plumbing and they set me up an appointment for Wednesday. Mark Letner, was very nice and explained to me what he was going to do didn't try to hassle me or sale me on anything and I just loved his personality. He came out fixed the leaks and LG&E came back out today and re-tested everything to make sure it was fixed properly and my gas is back on with no leaks. Thank you all very much for helping me out. I will definitely be using you all in the future.

Dan and his assistant Austin arrived at my home this morning at 9am. They worked tirelessly today to reinstall my sewer line which had collapsed against the house 7 foot underground. Their work was exemplary as was their professionalism I would not hesitate to have either one of them returned to my home to provide plumbing related services. As he performed the work today Dan shared with me many tidbits about plumbing matters and related topics I am glad and grateful to have made his acquaintance.

I called to have my bathroom sink unclogged. They left a huge mess after the first call: a black, coal like substance was smeared all over my bathroom, which was just cleaned, so I had to clean it again, which was not easy given the nasty substance. It was bad enough that they did not bother to clean up after themselves. To make matters worse, they did not put the piping back together properly, which caused a leak under the sink that was not there before. They had to come back out to fix this second problem that they caused and acted like they were doing me some big favor for not charging me for the second call. There was no apology for the inconvenience even though I was stuck at home all day on my one day off dealing with their incompetence. I tried my best to be polite to the tech, offering him water, coffee and a snack, but this was not returned, as he addressed me as brother man and my man, which I did not appreciate.

My only complaint is the price. For what they do and only needing couple hours and charging 200 something extra to clean my dryer vent come on man. Price gouging!!!! The 500 for cleaning should of included the dryer vent. To me this whole thing should not have been Over 400. But to charge me 800 for maybe 3 hours of easy work out rages!!!

John DeVore was the plumber assigned to my appointment and I was extremely satisfied for the quality of work and the service he provided. He fixed the issue a previous plumber had not resolved correctly and got both stems for the tub faucet knobs replaced. Great quality and reasonable price compared to others in the Louisville area. I'm glad I went with them.

Update: 6/9. When having the new toilet installed, we discovered that the wax ring replaced by Dauenhauer had partially slipped down the drain pipe, hence the continued leaking.We reported to the company that the toilet was running constantlyand water was leaking from the base. The technician came out and replaced the wax ring. The next day, we called to report that it was still running and water was on the floor again. Technician called to say he was on his way and said that there was probably a leak in the porcelain and that it would cost over $700 to replace. Also told us that we could go to Lowe's or Home Depot to get one and he could install it. We decided to have Lowe's do the work because it was less expensive. We called Dauenhauer to request a portion of our money back since it wasn't fixed and got a text (not a return phone call) saying that their recordings don't have us mentioning that it was still leaking and we would not get any of our money back. Obviously we HAD mentioned it or why else would the tech say that it was probably a crack in the porcelain? We do not have issues with the technician, we have issues with the management who refuse to do the right thing for a customer in this situation. We lost $267 for a toilet that wasn't properly fixed and ended up having to buy a new toilet as advised.

The plumber, Mike Weinberg, showed up early to our very serious water leak. He clearly explained what the problem was and what he needed to do to fix it. He completed the repairs and gave me advice on addressing non emergency issues that I had, then gave me a discount card for future use. I always use Dauenhauer for my plumbing issues, but Mike was the best plumber I have had come and fix my issues. I would strongly recommend Dauenhauer to anyone who needs a plumber.

Nelson arrived on time as always, assessed the problem and gave me the estimates to repair the problem. Once agreed upon he got the necessary parts to makes the repairs (had to get a second filter, the first one they sold him was faulty), but he had the problem fixed in no time. He's a top notch plumber and I'm glad to have him show up when I have issues.

When I called to get an estimate that said unclogging a drain starting at 99. Once they got to the house they advised 350.00 to unclog a drain. By that point we had waited all day for them to get there and we went ahead and paid. But REALLY misleading. Definitely will use another company next time.

I TRIED to use this business. I called Dauenhauer for an emergency plumbing issue and was so happy when they said they could come out today (Sunday). They promised somebody would be out by 5pm, but they were a no call, no show. Thanks Dauenhauer! They could have at least called me to tell me they would be late, or not be coming at all. Mark Letner replaced my old-fashioned hot and cold shower faucets with a single handle posi-temp valve and trim, all without me having to tear out the shower wall. I had a drip for a long time because my old plumber only replaced the washers/seats, and so I stopped asking. Mark is very skilled and focused and I can tell he enjoys his work and helping others fix problems.

I got fast service at a fair price. No surprises, no problems. They showed up on time and got hot water flowing in my house the same day. The plumber that was here even taught me a thing or two. Fast friendly service at a fair price. That's more than enough to get me to come back.

Brandon and Austin showed up on time and ready to work. Paid attention to detail and nothing we asked for was ignored. Explained what they were doing, gave updates and recommendations, and did not leave until they were fully done and we were satisfied with the work. We had Rory fix our main water pipe that goes from the meter to the house. He was so quick, explained things well, and was a very nice guy. We were up and running about 2 hours after they came. Very punctual and thorough!

Mat was the technician who installed a new bathroom sink faucet for me. He called 30 mins ahead of our scheduled appointment and arrived right on time. He was courteous, friendly, and obviously knew what he was doing from the get-go. He ended up needing a part he did not have on his truck but made a few extra calls and found one on a truck nearby so as to save him (and me) time and money. His work was clean the entire time, and when he left, it looked he had never been there. He was friendly with my dogs - they actually like him a lot - and completed the work quickly. The faucet runs a like a dream now and is no longer leaking - yay! I would highly recommend Mat and Dauenhauer Plumbing to anyone for any plumbing-related need!

Our technician was amazing. However the only time parts were found or follow up appointments were made were immediately after I called to check on the status after being told each time that as soon as they knew anything we would be contacted. It would appear their ordering/follow up systems could use some help. The people were always friendly and helpful, always polite, which is why even after waiting 8 weeks for heat, I still feel 3-3.5 stars is fair.

Daelyn, unblocked the main water line, retrieved the filthy rag, and restored the system. His work was knowledgeable and professional as was his demeanor. Thanks again, Daelyn!

Had a new tankless water heater installed in the fall of 2022 as well as two new toilets installed. Installers did a wonderful job installing and very happy with products. HOWEVER, cost also included a new permit and inspection which is required for any new water heater. Have reached out on 3 different occasions to Daunenhauer over the course of several months and no one has returned my call. No follow up at all. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them due to the fact the job isn't completed and I cannot get anyone to follow up as to why.

Installation was very efficient. The plumbers were knowledgeable.
Post-installation clean-up could have been better, as they filled our trash can with the packaging and forgot to relight the pilot light on the furnace after turning on the gas.

We had John DeVore come in and do our hot water heater and move our main shut off valve above the heater. He was very professional and knowledgeable about what to do and explained everything so I would understand. I was so happy they were able to do everything all in the same day and do the work a little after hours for me and my husband. I am so thankful for all that he did for us.

Gary/Junior was great. Got the jobs accomplished with persistence and professionalism…copper pipe repair and stubborn drain clog. The only issue I had was that I waited all day for the appointment that never happened and never got a call. After I called them we rescheduled for the next day and all went smoothly.

Had a clog in the kitchen sink over the weekend that we couldn't remedy and Dauenhauer Plumbing answered the call. They handled the scheduling easily and the plumber (Tim) was on-time, professional and communicated through the process as to the status and progress. Great job.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Both departments from the heating and cooling as well as plumbing are horrible. I have their membership, and the lack of customer service could be managed better by a toddler. They do not call you back, they mess up when they come to your house, they do not alert you when they change your appointment. They will also price quote you something on the phone, then the technician will tell you a different price when they arrive at your house. Then when you complain about that they say they are not supposed to quote prices over the phone. I was quoted 800 per installation of a nest unit by the technician, but I was told 370 on the phone by the representative per unit. Watch out for the price manipulation, and look elsewhere. I took a day off from work and the nests were not installed because they did not bring them. Today my fiancé took a day off from work for the plumbing crew, they set an appointment that ranged from 10am-5pm, never showed. I called just now they had her number on file but she never received a call, nor was an email sent to me: Also to make things even more comical is they only warranty their pipes for 1 year.

Toilet was backing up they determined the issue was further down the sewer system they ran an auger down and found wipes had been flushed and got the system going again in under an hour. The technician was very professional called me twice to let me know he was on the way and that he had arrived. Service was the same day I called blew me away.Many thanks to Dauenhauer and their technicians

Called on Sunday morning, received a time slot for early afternoon to come out. Called early to head out which was great. Came out to access the job, had to go get a few parts and was back quickly to complete the job. Left house clean and was very professional. Have them as a favorite in my phone in case we need them again.

Ryan & Matt both came and cleaned out a basem*nt drain that had backed up. Ryan thoroughly cleaned out the line and Matt took a picture of the problem. They told me to call MSD which I did. Last night MSD came and the two MSD workers said Dauenhauer had done a good job cleaning things up.

Neal came to house at 8 pm in the snow and after working a full shift stayed until 10pm and still was courteous and wonderful in his service. A couple of days later Jacob came to check if our heat was working properly. He was very informative and was like family before he left. The membership is totally worth purchasing and Neal and Jacob were professional and really cared. This means alot especially because my mother lives with me and has a lot of health problems. I would recommend to anyone.

I had a pipe burst in my bedroom. They were able to come out and locate the busted pipe quickly and fix it efficiently. Jacob was understanding of my difficult situation and explained what happened. I really appreciate the efficiency that my problem was solved with.

Aidan was on time and got the job done. He had to work in less than ideal conditions (120 year old cellar) and was at it for a few solid hours, finding new leaks in multiple pipes. He communicated clearly and thoroughly each time something new came about and updated me with the pricing so I could make the decision. Technician Mr. Fitz was great! Took the time to really investigate our plumbing issue. Was under the house in the crawl space numerous times to make sure things were working properly. Made sure he didn't track anything in the house and kept everything very clean. Great experience!

The work was good.They should have used a drop cloth. The cabinet under the sink was really a mess and can't be cleaned.They should notify if they are going to be very late. The time window was by 5 and arrived at 7:30. I realize it was Sunday but I paid an extra $99 for that as well as a $10 travel fee.

Very thankful Dauenhauer is open on weekends. Water heater failed Friday night called Dauenhauer 7am Saturday morning made appointment. Ricky Tucker came out about 9am. Good guy. Assessed problem but I was ready to replace my old tired water heater. He took measurements explained newer 50 gallon heater is different size so he had to rework pipes some. He explained everything well. I agreed to estimate and he went to pick up new water heater and supplies needed. Installation was a big one and a lot of work since he had to replace supply pipes but he got it done by 3pm. Price was in fair. I called them because because I knew they was a good company advertising water heaters fast and doing it on a Saturday really help me out because my work schedule doesn't allow me to easily take time off. I will definitely call them again next time I need pluming work done.

We tried installing a new valve for our tub because it would still leak after turning it completely off. We thought we had turned out water off but when we removed it we had flooded our bathroom and could not get the valve back on. It was around 9pm and they had someone out to us within 30 minutes. Our water valve outside was broken off and needed plyers to be turned off. The plumber installed the valve for us and gave us a very reasonable price. I dread our water bill but I will be calling these guys again if there's ever any issues. And Mat deserves a raise. He was very professional and nice. Definitely a great employee.

Great service, fast response and excellent communication! Had another HVAC company come out on 3 separate visits and they never did diagnosis, or fix, problem. AC/HVAC system was running constantly, not cooling property and electric bills were 8x higher than they should be. Leland knew exactly what to look for once he heard about the electric bills being high. Called on Thursday, diagnostic visit was Friday, part ordered and fix completed on Monday.

I am so impressed with the service we received!!! Our furnace stopped working yesterday. We had a repairman come over to fix it and found out it was leaking toxic levels of carbon monoxide and had to be replaced. We called Dauenhauer this morning, and they sent someone to give us an estimate within 2 hours. He was professionally dressed, he introduced himself, and he was wearing a mask. He was very professional in the way he talked to us. He was polite, respectful, and considerate. He explained all details of the estimate and said the price he quoted would be the final price, even if he missed something or misquoted the actual cost. He told us he would try to set up an appointment for the installers to come tomorrow. After about an hour after he left, he called and said they could do it today! In less than 2 hours, two installers arrived. They were also very professional, polite, respectful, and courteous. They worked very well together and quickly removed the old furnace (which was in the attic) and carried it to their truck. They carried in and installed the new furnace and swept and cleaned up their mess when they were done. Considering the temperature outside is 20 something, I can't express enough how much appreciation we have for this company and the exceptional and efficient service that these men provided to us today. If you have a need, look no further. THIS is the only company you need to call!

I appreciate how Dauenhauer provides old-school service. By that I mean that they don't make it a hassle to deal with them as so many other companies do. I needed to run a new gas line for my new gas range. I contacted Dauenhauer and one other company for comparing the quotes. Dauenhuer gave me reasonable price quote. Mark Letner from Dauenhauer came to my house for initial estimate as well as to complete the installation. He is the best professional plumber that I have ever worked with. He not only installed new gas line but also he connected the gas range. He also did leak check for other gas lines which was not included in the quote. He found a leak and fixed it. He is very knowledgeable and his work shows that he had a great experience in plumbing and easy to work with him. Over all, Dauenhauer did a great job. I definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Saturday call out at 5:30 pm. Serviceman was nice and friendly. He was unable to unclog the drain, but offered lots of information on how to proceed and what to expect. Clog was too deep and stubborn for the 100 foot snake. After following advice of first Serviceman and had a clean out added. I had them come back out a couple days later and re-snake main line and all is clean and moving. I had a new Serviceman and he was just as great as the first one, maybe even a little bit better as he was able to get the main drain unclogged and clean :)

They couldn’t have done a better job. Showed up on the weekend fixed our main line out of the house. VIP membership was worth every penny.

I am very pleased with the work done by Alex and Becca in my home. We had a slab leak, and had to have the plumbing in our entire house re-routed. Alex and Becca were very professional, and were very considerate about not cutting up our walls too much. They choose the routes very carefully for the re-route and I was very pleased with the results. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and they finished ahead of schedule. Every time I use Daunheauer, I always get a great professional plumber, and their customer service is second to none. I will absolutely use them again.

We decided to go with this company on recommendations from someone. Our appointment was from 8 to 10. They called at 9 and said they were 30 minutes out. At 10 when no one called or showed up my husband called to find out the problem. A representative finally called back and said the technician did not have the equipment. We explained to them the problem when we made the appointment, which was a drainage problem in the bathtub. She would not give a time when the technician would be out. My husband asked if it would be 20 minutes or six hours, she said she didn’t know. We ended up canceling the appointment and wasted half the day waiting on the technician. Will go with another company in the future.

Jeremiah was very professional during the time he was in my home. He advised me on what needed to be done in order to repair the plumbing issues I was experiencing and informed me of the cost before beginning any repair. He was both friendly and efficient.

We were initially impressed by the speed they sent a tech out and the communication the tech had with us prior to arriving and during the diagnostic visit. This company quoted us $600 for the repair above the $118 charge to come out and run the diagnostic. They then didn’t return any calls to schedule — I called 4 times and no one called me back. In the meantime, we had another company come out and they fixed it for $150 including their diagnostic charge. Our experience was terrible and I do not recommend.

I am a repeat customer of Dauenhauer Plumbing. I like the fact that the plumber did not pressure me into getting my job done. He had all the parts in his truck. He finished the job a little earlier than quoted. I feel at ease that my leak is fixed and that I have a 1 year warranty. Anytime I want something done right, I contact Dauenhauer Plumbing.

I had an after hours call. I was told it could be late in the morning before a technician could arrive. Jacob Wilkerson came maybe 3 hours after I called. He fixed my problem. He was very knowledgeable. I am satisfied with the work performed and not having to wait all night for someone to come and fix the bad leak under my sink.

In June I called them to service my Air conditioner. They replaced a $5 capacitor. I signed up for their $20 monthly membership that was sold by the on sight technician to get 20% discount over my $105 part. He said it was cancel anytime . I've let my membership run for 3 months without using it. Called today to cancel and they told me there's a 1 year contract which is not what I was told. I called today, patched thru to multiple customer service people to be told by manager Alex Tanner that they will not cancel my membership without refunding my discount. I told him ok cancel my membership, ask to charge me full price for my $105 part but credit the $60 in membership fees that I have not used. I signed no contract. I told them I don't want to rip them off and I don't want to be ripped off. The difference should be that I pay for the full price of the part ($20, I offered them $40...double what my discount was to just cancel my membership). They refused. He claimed it's like buying insurance... That's crazy...I didn't buy any insurance and signed no contract, have no brochure. I told them to cancel me anyway and I will be charged the full price of original part, plus the wasted membership fees that were worthless with the decision to never use them again. I told manager Alex I would spread the word on the Scam Dauenhauer runs and the horrible customer service that they do.I recommend you find someone else that doesn't do this bait and switch. I would not pay $20 for 1 year ($240) to get a $20 discount on a part. I just wanted to be fair but they can't beIt is a shame to find what a scam they run. Dauenhauer should find a better customer service manager that is more fair and not lose long term potential customers.

Alex Taylor was the most professional person I have ever met. He was so polite, answered my questions and concerns. He explained everything in detail and was absolutely awesome. I never post reviews but this was a review I was excited about. My toliet backed up into my tub in all my bathrooms. That's gross and very scary. It happened on a Saturday night. Scared to death this was going to cost in the thousands, I was so wrong... Dauenhauer plumbing is definitely a company that will not take advantage of you. We had a backup in our basem*nt drain that we noticed on a Sunday evening. Thought it was a clogged toilet but ended up being in our main line. Keith and the other gentleman were both very professional, arrived in the timeframe we were told, and had the clog fixed in less than 30 minutes. I liked the fact we got a photo of Keith before he got here. They helped us in our emergency fix on a Sunday and they are both appreciated. Will recommend them and will use again if needed.

I made the appointment on Wednesday and it was fixed on Thursday. They came inn, diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in under an hour. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional!

I called and had someone come out on a Sunday to look at my heat and air. My experience with the people working there wasnt bad, they were very polite and they came out promptly. The charge for the trip out on a sunday wasnt bad considering it was after hours, and was a little over $100. The tech also I think did an excellent job with his diagnostic work. He seemed very knowledgeable and correctly diagnosed the problem, which was a faulty motherboard. You may wonder why I am giving a 2 Star rating vs a 5 star rating. Well, the reason is they wanted to charge over $1500.00 to replace it. A lot of people wouldn't question this, but to give an idea, the part only cost $300 plus tax and shipping. Now I turned down their services because I am not afraid to work on things and it took me about 1.5 hrs, which mostly involved me researching and watching some videos to ensure I did it correctly, but it was extremely simple. It would have taken at most 30 mins for a trained tech to do this job. So they wanted to charge me about $1200 in labor for a 30 min job. If you include drive time, add an hour at most to go pick up this part and drive out to my house, but I still dont see how to justify 1200 labor for 1.5 hours.... Now I understand people want to make money, and I also understand people want to get paid for their expertise, but this price tag was just plain GREED. I think a more reasonable price should have been somewhere in the $500-600 range, meaning 300 for the part and 200-300 for labor. 1200 for 1.5 hours is the same as making 1.6 million dollars a year working 40 hours per week. Imagine if I wasnt capable for doing it myself, how someone making 30k a year would be able to afford something like this. Just crazy greedy.

Brandon and Dauenhauer were wonderful. My husband and I were kept informed at all times. Repair work was always explained prior to the repair. We received email, text and verbal notifications when they were on their way or an appt had been scheduled. The company I work for has always used Dauenhauer and even the owner for his personal home, now I see why.

Alex Taylor was wonderful. He was friendly, knowledgeable and respected the animals in our house. I always thought I had a septic tank for my sump pump. But after a thorough review of everything here we concluded there was no septic tank. So he was able to run a large snake through the sewer line and cleared the clump of roots that was causing the problem. David Boston came out to fix a leak in a crawl space. Other companies said they would have to cut a hole in our floor to get to it but he was able to locate and repair with no issue. Very friendly, nice, informative and professional and competitively priced.

I had to have them come out and inspect something that a home inspector said needed to be replaced. They were on time, called 30 minutes before they got there. When they showed up they were courteous and professional. I took them to the basem*nt to show them the water heater plumbing that the inspector said was not to code. They looked at it and said he was mistaken that if it was a gas water heater it would be in violation of the code but ours was electric and he said that it was done to code. He also pointed to the green inspection sticker that was done on the house when it was built confirming everything was right. I also had to have him verify that there was no leak on the main water shut off valve on the house as the inspector said there was. I had never seen any water dripping and there was no sign of a leak had ever been there. He looked at it for a few minutes and explained there was no leak but the inspector may have seen what looked like a leak when he shown his flashlight on the chrome valve and the lighting reflecting could have been interpreted as a water drop. He notated both things on the paperwork as not being issues and went on his way. The two guys who came to the house were very progressional and quick in their work. I think the one guys name was Frank but I can not recall the other ones name. I would recommend them again.

We had our water heater go out on a weekend and within 24 hours we had a brand new one up and running and for much less than what we thought it would be. Dauenhauer simply does not care if its a warranty job. Ive had 2 warranty job experiences and both times couldn't care less. Infact after the first time one of the employees called me to chew me out for not saying they were awesome. I wouldn't recommend Dauenhauer

We had an emergency on Thanksgiving weekend. Even though they were very busy, they put us on their list and didn't put us off to another day. Their office staff answered our calls for status while waiting, quickly, accurately and helpfully.Their specialist came after an already very long day of work. He was cheerful, knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly evaluated the situation, brought in the right tools, worked quickly and solved the problem.He protected the floors using foot covers and cleaned up after the job was done. He checked everything was in good working order and even cleaned up an extra hair clump in the bath drain that was not the primary issue.We will definitely use Dauenhauer again and recommend them to friends. Thanks for a great experience in a trying time!

Sean had been to my house previously and had warned me that I was going to need a new hot water heater. He was right! This was right after the severe cold snap in the area and I had expected to have to wait for service since I knew they were busy. But Sean was able to squeeze me in and completed the job in one day! Both Sean and his helper, David, were quick, efficient and left no mess behind. I highly recommend!

Dauenhauer Plumbing came in and quickly identified the leaks and asked for confirmation each time he had to cut an additional piece of drywall till we found the leaks. He was fantastic and had the pipes repaired in less than 30 mins once we found the multiple leaks. Highly recommend.

I called about an outside faucet leak and Chris showed up within an hour to repair it. Immediately detected the issue and replaced my outside faucet and the indoor plumbing connected to it. The repair and replacement was quick. Plumbers like him are the reason I always use Dauenhauer.

Mr. Lopez was very nice and professional. He explained what he was doing and why. He arrived during the timeframes established and completed the work as quickly as possible.

The installers preparation for this project was lacking. A tool was missing from the truck, so start time for the project did not occur until 10:30am. By late afternoon, it was determined that a thermostat and fuses were not on the truck, so both installers left for a 75-minute shopping trip to Lowe's three miles away. As a result, installation was not complete until nearly 8pm, causing us to forego our planned night at the theater. Installers were pleasant enough, however.

Austin installed a new faucet that was extremely difficult. He stuck with it and did a great job.

Can't say enough great things about my experience with Daunhauer and how happy I am with the service provided by Nick M. My sewer main was stopped up and I had called another company at first.. they charged me $80 to come out and tell me I had a blockage.. (that's why I called smh) then wanted to offer me 3 levels of service ranging from $600-$1300 to resolve the same issue.. I then called Daunhauer (only charged me $400) and I'm glad I did, it was obvious that Nick was more concerned about getting my issues resolved, than trying to stick it to me because I had an emergency situation.. thank you Daunhauer for being customer service first over maximizing profits when someone has an emergency..

We had an emergency plumbing issue happen late into the night & Dauenhauer showed up! Our technicians name was Mark, and he was wonderful. He was friendly, efficient, and upfront about costs before he even came to our property. Mark was at our home until probably 2am getting the problem fixed. We are so thankful! We would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially in an emergency situation.My dad, back home in MO, is a plumber. He said the pricing was also very fair pricing for the work that we had done & it happening in the middle of the night.

We found out we had a gas leak at 10pm, we called Dauenhauer and within an hour Austin and his team were at our house. They had located the issue and had the repair done in no time. We're so used to getting jerked around pricing since our home is over 120 years old and requires A LOT of TLC with repairs; We were insanely happy when we were presented with the invoice. They were fair, friendly and honest. We will always continue to use Dauenhauer for all of our plumbing, heating and air needs!

Extremely poor communication! They came out for a water heater issue on a Thursday and said they didn't have the right part. Said they would order it from Ohio and have it Tuesday. Tuesday came and it took 3 calls from myself to finally learn that they did not have the part and did not know when they might.When you have been without hot water for a week, the least they could have done is be pro active about communicating their inability to get the needed part. I could have already called someone else and got hot water again.They left us hanging.

The plumber was great. The service was great. But the company charged a $10 fuel surcharge because of gas prices and that's just gouging. Gas has to be a tiny percentage of their cost, and $10 implies they traveled, like, 200 miles to get my house. It's just opportunistic price gouging.

We recently needed a new water heater. After contacting 3 different companies, Dauenhauer had the best price with warranty and was available the soonest.The plumber, Mark was very patient in answering all of my questions and in giving me 3 separate quotes. After all was said and done, we have a great water heater, with a good warranty, and he replaced our toilet seal.After the first positive experience I called them when our sink wouldn't drain and my snake wasn't long enough to get through the clog.The new technician that came out, listened to me.... They sent me two angels from heaven today , they will probably own their own company someday, they are they best plumbing company in the world, I'm putting their number permently in my phone but I will probably never need it they did such a good job , they went way above and beyond , words cannot express how thankful I am for them and the lady who answered the phone was amazing , great office staff , just the best company period. If you need a plumber call them you will not be sorry.

Erik diagnosed the problem, intelligently and professionally. He was very thorough in his analysis. He worked diligently and kept us informed as he completed his tasks. It took longer than we expected because the problem was worse than we thought. We were very satisfied with his professional work performance and his friendly good natured attitude. My guest bathroom toilet needed a pipe replaced and to be leveled. After my husband took the toilet off and found it wasn’t a simple repair we called Dauenhauer. They came out the next morning and fixed us up. No mess left behind. Slightly higher cost than we expected but I didn’t mind. The service was wonderful. I really liked the picture sent by email of the actual plumber coming out. We knew exactly who to expect. Great safety feature. The gentleman who came out (Matt) was very nice and although my three year old talked his ear off the was very pleasant and didn’t seem bothered at all.

I have never reviewed a service before. Andrew Fleener just made my life a bit better. He not only fixed all the issues I had in record time but was a total proffesional. Simple as that !!

John, the plumber that came to my home was absolutely wonderful. He was very polite, friendly, and professional. He completed the job and left the work area so clean that you could not tell he was even there. John also explained to me what he did and what to expect later. He also told me about my warranty. Unprepared, multiple trips, issue still not resolved... Multiple calls, poor customer service 3 different trucks, 4 days and the kitchen sink does not drain. (Well it drains 1 gallon in 3 hours) after it was ( repaired)

Jacob arrived right on time, surveyed the problems and priced the proposed work. He fixed one problem on the spot, then scheduled the job for two days later for my convenience. On the day scheduled he called ahead, arrived on time with an assistant and the parts needed for the work. In less than 2 1/2 hours they replaced flawed piping and hard plumbed a kitchen sink and garbage disposer drain lines, replaced the wax seal for a toilet, removed and replaced two through-the-wall outside frost proof faucets, and cleaned up the work area to a shine.All work was done for the quoted price, which was less than expected. Terrible. The guy acted like he didn't want to be there. As soon as he looked at the toilet he said we will need to call the company and reschedule for the next day. He wouldn't give a estimate, kept saying $200 for this, $180 for that. Eventually emailed us one estimate when he was supposed to email two. Used the company previously but not anymore.

We had a broken valve on a bathtub knob on a Saturday afternoon. The person who answered first said they could come between 5-11 p.m. but called back right after to say they had someone available and Bret the technician arrived in less than 45 minutes. He was extremely helpful and got the immediate situation taken care of right away, another person will need to come back to install a new faucet on Monday. We really appreciate the professionalism and good work.

We had a pipe burst due to the cold and made an appointment for a tech to come out and take a look. They set our appointment for window of 11am-5pm... never saw them. The company eventually called around 630 and hung up when we answered the phone. Didn't answer when we called back. Never heard back from them or received a message, voicemail, or email. When we called the next day they were completely unapologetic and didn't even bother to complete the appointment. Extremely unprofessional and we're still without water in our kitchen. Not to mention we lost an entire day waiting around for no one to show up. Don't waste your time and call a different plumber.

From the after hours response to the constant contact to let you know when they would arrive Dauenhauer is by far the best around. Austin was not only professional but went out of his way to secure the parts needed to repair our injection pump on a day when the parts houses are closed. After getting the parts needed he returned and had our plumbing back up and usable in short order. There is no need to call anyone else if you need something repaired anytime of the day or night.

Our water heater, which was older than most of the people reading these reviews, finally decided to go to light. When it was time to replace old Methuselah, we called Dauenhauer. They came out immediately, gave a reasonable estimate, and scheduled a prompt replacement service. David and his lovely assistant arrived timely and ready to work (and I mean WORK, that thing had to weigh the same amount as a small elephant). They installed the water heater promptly with not-so-much as a speck of dirt on our wood floors and white carpet. I was able to enjoy a warm bubble bath within the hour! Adulting is hard, make it easier on yourself and give Dauenhauer a call.

I just purchased my home in October 2020 and there was some plumbing issues. I called Roto Rooter in December 2020 to clean the lines (wish I would have called Dauenhauer instead). Anyway, while cleaning the lines, RR found a crack in the pipe. They gave a crazy expensive quote so I decided to shop around. Not only was Dauenhauer the best price, they responded super quickly, explained everything to my husband and I and really went above and beyond to fix the pipe for us. They didn't even remove part of the fence (as originally expected). Instead, they dug under the fence! So awesome! We were very pleased with James Johnson’s work for Dauenhauer. He was very precise in tracking down the origin of the leak in our house which wasn’t easy to find, and was concerned about doing the least damage possible to our walls. The holes he did have to cut were very neat and as small as they could be and he did a excellent job of fixing both our leaks. He was very pleasant and explained everything well. We will definitely ask for him the next time we have plumbing problems!

Dauenhauer has a web-based appointment service however they do not honor any appointments made that way. So about 24 hours before my appointment which I scheduled last week using the web, I was called to say no one was coming but could probably come 3 days later. I let them how unhappy I was about this but they were indifferent at best and let me know the website didn’t really matter -despite text confirmation of my appointment time. So I would consider them dishonorable in terms of their commitments. Thankfully the repair is a minor and I don’t have to trust them with something significant

only reason it wasn't 5 stars is they were so busy my friday appointment turned into Sunday. but a huge credit to Gary for getting it done on a sunday.

Overall not very pleased with the work done by Ronnie and the helper, but after reading some of the other post here, I can only give 1 stars today.Reason why is this job cost $389 to replace an outside water spigot that they had to cut out a 10x10 hole in my drywall to reconnect everything.Probably a $50 dollar part, but they didn’t even offer to fix the drywall as part of the repair cost or even at a added cost option, no insulation pushed in the area nothing.One would think at that cost it would have been included or even offered with the repair as an added service, but it was not!So I’m let with a nice hole in my wall until I can get it fixed.The outside spigot wasn’t anchored to the brick either with screws or even some dab of concrete mix, it has some play in it.Bummer!

We had a new Carrier AC and furnace installed by Dauenhauer. They arrived on time and were done early. The work area was cleared of the old furnace and condenser. Matt went above and beyond in helping us with our plumbing issues. He helped coordinated what we needed with MSD- always checked in to let us know the status and came over when more work needed to be done. Very knowledge and was dedicated to fixing our issue that was very complex. Thank you Matt!

This was my 1st time using Dauenhauer Plumbing, and I was definitely surprised and pleased. From calling to schedule an appointment (I didn't have to leave a message and wait for a callback, someone answered the phone) to the surprise that they could come so quickly. I had the option of same day, next day or whatever day service I needed. I didn't have to wait a week. Andrew was the one who came to my home. He called to let me know he was on his way with an estimated time of arrival. He was very professional, nice, friendly and informative. He went over the work order and pricing for my approval and completed the job very efficiently. Pricing for the services was very reasonable and I am very pleased with my experience. I will definitely be using this company for all my plumbing needs.

Timothy was professional, knowledgeable and got the job done. Another company came 2 days prior and could not figure out how to complete the job. I was left without the use of my sink for 2 extra unnecessary days. I highly recommend him. He needs a raise in my opinion.

The plumbers had to come Saturday and Sunday to complete the job, due to the need for additional equipment. That was no problem for us. The gentlemen were great, and we're pleased with their job. If our reply does not post, it is because we cannot post on any social media forum.

Edit Review: I was a satisfied Comfy club member for over 2 years until a bad experience left me feeling like just a number. I spent at least an hour on hold. I have been and am currently being ignored by management and I have not had a filter replaced that could be damaging my unit which is by their standards in great condition for over a month… not sure how a company can operate like this and feel they are providing a service. Called 3 times and asked for any simple resolution and was told a manager would reach out to me but I guess they actually just don’t care. Brandon from Dauenhauer showed up to replace a sump pump. Was very pleased with the quick response (heavy rain on the day the pump died, of course) and his professional manner. The pump was replaced a new valve installed and all for less money and time than I was expecting. Very happy with the service.

Johnny Barton came out to help me with the water heater not filling our tub anymore. He went through some options to get some extra life out of our existing water heater before I decided it was time for a new one. I called today and I was very upset with the plumbing issues I was having and the lady I spoke with was very rude and kept talking over me . No compassion for my situation and she just kept telling me all of the huge fees just for coming out and for it being after hours. If I could give them a negative score I would. I called Tom Drexler and they were extremely nice and AFFORDABLE! Maybe you should invest in a friendlier staff and affordable prices like your advertising. Just food for thought . Our technician Austin did an excellent job! He was very quick and professional. Our water bill had sky rocketed and we were concerned about a possible leak. Austin found the leak very quickly and had us fixed within the hour. Pretty sure we're going to use Dauenhauer for any future plumbing needs, and hopefully we can request the same technician. Our outdoor pool house toilet got clogged after a girl flushed Pooh and waaaay too much toilet paper late on a Friday afternoon. After trying plunging and dish soap and hot water down sink drains only to have them push the water out of the toilet and onto the floor I surrendered and called Saturday morning and scheduled the appointment.Austin arrived in the timeframe given andquickly assessed the situation -girls who use toilet paper like they take selfies (way too much) keep him busy fixing toilets!Austin was great, very professional and finished quickly.Note to parents: Please teach your daughters proper toilet courtesy. This was an expensive but necessary solution.

Even though it was New Year's Eve and an appointment in E-town took longer than expected, Ron & Chase fulfilled their commitment to us and completed the job, leaving our house at 9:30pm. We were very appreciative of their professionalism and dedication to a job well done.

Fantastic work by Rory on a challenging job replacing my water line. Our yard was very small and had a lot of buried cables, gas and other lines. Very professional, and fair priced compared to other estimates we received.

These guys showed up within an hour of an emergency call and did a more thorough and quality job than I've had in my home in the last six years! It was valentines day in the evening and I have a surgery coming up in two days.I needed immediate help! They gave me every option that was reasonable to completely fix. Great service and nice people to work with who care about you as a customer to make sure your satisfied. Worth every penny.

Eric was awesome! We had a pretty big leak. Since he was finishing up another job & couldn't get to us right away, he called to help walk me through how to turn the water main off so we didn't continue to flood the house. He was quick and efficient at getting everything fixed. We will definitely use Dauenhauer Plumbing and hopefully Eric again if needed!

The price seemed to be very high for the work that was actually done. I set the appointment 2 days in advance for a monday so I wouldnt pay a emergency/afterhours charge, and it was $370 to snake my main drain line 7 feet. They went through a clean out in the basem*nt so access was easy. Wet wipes were pulled up and it was a very quick in and out snake, they did not go beyond that initial blockage. My problem does seem to be fixed but due to price I will go elsewhere next time.

Hats off to Matt, he came out, checked my problem, explained to me exactly what was causing my backup and resolved the issue. He worked tirelessly to get my problem resolved and his service was remarkably favorable. I cried after he left, because I had been experiencing this same issue, repeatedly for 3 yrs. It had become an annual issue. So even during a pandemic, we can still receive good service, from some good-hearted people that still take pride in their job performance. You sent novices to our home, did nothing in repair. They did tear up our creek bridge with their large truck after telling the office to not use the drive but to come in the service gate and property. Then we’re told the Home Serv policy would not cover the repair of the water line. You cost us more to have repaired. Thanks a lot!!

Our kitchen sink had standing water and would not drain. Timmy arrived right on time and was very friendly and professional the whole time he was here. It was a really bad clog and he ended up having to bring in an extra hand (I can't recall his name) and more equipment, but they were able to get it cleared! I really appreciated their willingness to answer my questions and explain what they were doing. I would definitely recommend this crew to anyone!

Our service representative, Johnny Barton, was professional, courteous, efficient with solving our issue. Called ten minutes before arrival, wore booties in the house, cleaned our kitchen drainage pipes, and replaced the trap with a removable one. Maybe a little pricey for the work, compared to a similar job a few years ago by Dauenhauer, but will definitely use again! A++

Nick and Austin came out on a Sunday and removed the clog I was unable to reach. Great guys very professional.

Called beforehand and said was on the way. Arrived within the time I was told, and asked about the problem. Explained it and I was asked questions pertaining to the problem. Then told me what needed to be done and went about getting the problem fixed.Fixed the problem and showed pictures of what was going on. It was less than an hour and all was working as it should.

Kyle was such a great worker. Me & my children were without heat out of the blue, i googled 24/7 near me & this was the first one to pop up, and i see why. Kyle informed me of everything that was wrong & he fixed it all without hesitation. i thought it was one simple fix but it was multiple problems & he fixed it all no problems. I had several kitchen water problems: a bad diverter causing the faucet to cut off, low water pressure to the fridge ice maker, and a clogged dishwasher hose. They fixed it all - and installed a new faucet I had bought - quickly and for a reasonable price.

Too overpriced. Wants almost $1900 to install a hot water heater when H2O is less than $1400. Ripping people off.

Scheduled an appointment for service on 1/5/23 between 10am and 5pm. I received a call from a technician at 4:30pm asking me if I still needed a technician to come. After a quick conversation with the technician he said he would call me back to confirm an appointment for 1/6/23 between 8am-10am because it was so late in the day. I never received the call back and had to call their office only to be told I had cancelled, I did not cancel, and that they would not be able to reschedule for 5 days.This is an unacceptable way to do business and will quickly earn a company a poor reputation.

The tech person named Dalton Hadley, was a Godsend. He was on time, very courteous, and was very helpful in helping us resolve our HVAC vent problem. We are thankful to Dalton for his service, and thankful to Dauenhauer for the way they do business, and for having people like Dalton Hadley to represent Dauenhauer Plumbing.

My experience with Dauenhauer plumbing has always been awesome until today. My water heater wasn't working. I knew it was the thermocouple that needed to be replace but I didn't have time to mess with it nor did I feel like working on it. So I called and gave them the model number (to make sure they had the correct part on their truck) and they came out the next day. They guys didn't even take it apart to inspect it to make sure that was the issue. They automatically said I just needed to buy a new water heater... I asked them how to open it up and take it apart to get to the thermocouple to inspect it and they explained, and the one of the guys said YouTube is your best friend. He was right about that. I watched a 5 minute video to see what was involved. I was willing to pay to have it fixed but watched how to do it my self. They told me noone carried the part. After a trip to Home Depot, $12 and 3 hours later, my water is working again! Thats sad that your willing to pay to have something fixed but they just want to turn something small into a big job and charge a ton of money instead of correct the issue the right way. 🤨

No scenario is five star. 5 stars: The fact that this company is open 24/7. The fact that a human being answered my phone call pretty quickly. The fact that I got a text with a time notification and a picture of the arriving plumber, which is nice. The fact that the plumber had many years of experience.3-4 stars: The plumber came at the very tail end, even after, the five hour window of time I was waiting on the plumber. That makes for a long day of waiting, and rearranging plans.3-4 stars: The plumber was a little bit grumpy, and told me right away he didn’t think he could resolve my hot water problem, but 5 stars for his ability to problem-solve. He turned out to be friendlier than the initial impression.3-4 stars: I thought the cost was a little expensive, compared to the reliable “mom and pop” small business plumber I’ve used for years, but 5 stars for providing this 24/7 plumbing service to our community. It was worth every penny to have the issues resolved on the weekend. Since I already have a plumber I use during the week, I wouldn’t need Dauenhauer on weekdays , but I would definitely call them on a weekend again!!

Tiffany went above and beyond with her thurough inspection. She saved us from a house fire. Another company installed my unit and she discovered that they did not use a wire nut and had wrapped electrical tape around the wires. She saw and heard the sparks and showed me where the tape was melted. The wires were poking through. It wasn't a matter of if, but when. She immediately fixed this and checked the rest to make sure there were no more exposed wires wrapped in tape. She is 100 percent on top of her game and very knowledgeable about HVAC. I was able to understand everything she explained. I cannot thank her enough for investigating her hunch and saving us from a catastrophic event. I highly recommend Tiffany and this company. Their quarterly maintenance checks have been worth every penny.

Kyle is an excellent technician! He was friendly and he was even able to make it to the house earlier than planned. We requested our dryer vent to be cleaned out and instead, we found major issues. Our plumber Mason did a FANTASTIC job. He was very nice, professional, wore his face covering while inside our home, and did an excellent job moving our sump pump to another location. Way to go Daunhauer for great service.The only thing we can critique is that the office sent a crew out to mark the electrical and water lines in our front yard when we did not need it. I had a issue with my water heater. water was coming out the top and bottom a Sunday around 4:30am so called around to different places and no one was opened around that time so I Google and prayed that i would find one and guess what ! My prayers was answered 🙏 I had no clue what to do at this time so I called this company and the representative coached me through the process on how to turn off the water off once that was done she made a appointment for me and gave me a time that they was coming along with a follow-up text the plumber who came to fix it was very nice and patient throughout this process. I strongly recommend this company they're a little pricey but they're well worth the price 😉you know the saying you get what you pay for with this company is the truth so please don't snooze on this company guys!

1 Month ago I called Bryant Heating and Cooling. the tech they sent smelled like poo, took 3 minutes to diagnose and told me that the furnace motherboard was bad and it would be over $1,100.00 but he could get me a deal that day only for a little over $800.00. Today Dauenhauer came out the tech was clean did not stink took his time and fixed it for the service visit of 59.99. He then showed me what went wrong and how to fix it next time. the service visit was discounted because i was so impressed I joined the Comfy Club and I got a great deal on that too. I'm an old man and can't afford much, I appreciate the honesty and professionalism.

Very positive experiences the couple of times they have fixed my problem. Very fast, easy to talk to and very friendly. Robert was awesome today, by the way. I love our newly fixed pipe that no longer leaks and he fixed it super fast!!Will recommend to anyone needing a plumber.The customer service lady that confirmed my online appointment request was awesome, too. Arrived within the window they gave for service call. Promptly unclogged drain about 50 ft down the line.Well worth the price. Especially when THEY explained to my wife what I have been saying for 22yrs about what goes in a disposal and how to use it.

We had sewer water backing up into utility room. Matt came out on Saturday evening. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He ran an industrial snake outside and took pictures inside the sewer line. He determined sewer backup was due to fiber optic pipe boring into the sewer pipe. He contracted the responsible people and scheduled repairs. We were very pleased with Matt’s service.

The service was timely and efficient. He found the source of our problem and addressed it immediately with complete resolution. Aaron was friendly, and explained things completely. He was very clean is his work area and concerned about leaving things cleaner than they were. I recommend Dauenhauer Plumbing with out reservation.

We had them come out to fix our hot water heater. The tech Robert was very through and polite. He was able to show us where the problem was. We went with them to do the replacement because of the high quality service. I will definitely use them again for future service if the need arises.

We live here in Lexington Ky. Mr. Hawkins was courteous. He followed his companies Covid 19 policy even when I told him he could remove his mask. He gave me prices right up front. Gave me options. He went right to work and in no time my new faucet was in. I would recommend Mr. Hawkins with no reservations.

While the cost was a tiny bit more than I originally expected. I did get a new water heater that day, fixed everything I was having issues with and was super kind and helpful the entire time he was there doing repairs. Didn't have to worry about a thing! I received a phone call with and exact time he would arrive and he was right on time which was honestly one of the most impressive parts of the entire day! Used water heater last night and was so happy to have everything back up and running again. Very pleased with Dauenhauer and their employees. Great Service!!! Worth every penny.

This time we had Austin change out gait valve to a ball valve in case we needed to shut off the water from inside the house. He was very polite and got the job done in a timely manner. Very pleased with Dauenhauer both times we have used them.I had a leaking water heater on Sunday. My husband had gone out of town the day before and I was having to soak up the water in the pan every hour ( it was leaking about 1 to 1 1/2 gallons per hour) being in 55 gallon water heater it was going to take all night and into Monday before it would drain. I had turned off the power to it. I called and they sent Matt and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He called his co-workers to bring a water heater out (Mt Washington) so that he didn't have to go into Louisville and come back. Meanwhile he drained the old water heater and took the old one out and when his co-workers got here they were able to install the new one. Matt was friendly and he listened to what I told him that I had done and I would highly recommend him. Thanks for a good job Matt, hope you were able to get some rest. Your on call schedule is like mine as a R N was. Thanks again.

Had these guys install a new HVAC system back in March. Woke up to a house that was 56° this morning and a heating system that isn’t working. Called the company and the best they could do was make an appointment for 4 days from now. I understand that the current weather is extreme and it’s the holidays, but really?! I was warned ahead of time not too use them, now I wish I had listened..

The good: very friendly.The bad: I called Dauenhauer twice. Two plumbers came out. I replaced the pilot assembly for about 90. I replaced the gas valve for about 230. The second plumber broke my old pilot assembly and used the small gauge wire to unclog my water heater during draining. He couldn’t fix anything and charged me about 180. In my professional world, you are hired for a job and upon completing the job you get paid. You don’t get paid for not providing a service.I called Maeser. Their plumber spent and hour and figured out my new pilot assembly was faulty. The old pilot assembly worked fine and had crud on the sensor. The crud prevented the gas valve from reading that the pilot was hot enough hot release gas to the burner. Maeser used a screen and cleaned the old broken pilot off. He had to use part of the new faulty assembly with the old assembly to get it working. This is 7 days in with no hot water. Since Dauenhauer broke my old pilot assembly and a second new assembly would take another week to arrive, I had to use both Together. Thus, I couldn’t return it. Dauenhauer costs me two plumbers, 180 in service, 300 in parts. On top of the Nearly 200 I paid Maeser for actually doing the job right.Analysis: when you have been without hot water for a week, you need someone to do their job, right. Why waste the time with Dauenhauer when you really need help. Call a different plumber that will get the job done. I appreciate Maeser and will personally use them again.Additional: two weeks ago Dauenhauer offered to reimburse 80 or 90 bucks, which I guess covers the part they intentionally broke. But doesn’t do much for the 180 dollars I paid for the companionship. However, after two weeks, no additional contact, no reimbursem*nt. 1440 minutes in a day, my time is worth more than that dillydally lack luster effort.

The technician Cody was one of the most professional people I’ve had the privilege to meet. He was on time answered all my questions and made the best suggestion for my repair that made the best sense. I hope any time I call this business this is the professional that shows up to make my repairs.

Called about a clog in my main sewer line. The guy was very professional and understanding. Never once complained even after he got completely drenched from head to toe in sewer water when the clean out popped off due to the pressure being built up in the pipe! Felt so bad for that dude, sorry again Jeremy hopefully you got to go home to a nice long shower after that!!

The technician said there was no high power to the unit and did nothing else. This a gas unit and doesn't need high power. The 110 power is working but unit not coming on. The problem was not addressed, now I had to call someone else in.

Ronnie ran a new gas line to our kitchen range. He did a great job. Communication was great, he was on time, job was completed and he left and cleaned up so good you’d of neverKnown he was there. Highly recommend for any of your gas line needs!

Brad was very professional and courteous. He was able to accurately pin point as well as fix our issue in a more than timely manner. The emergency service call center (Jackie) were also very nice and understood and cared about my wife and I's needs despite it being 2:30 A.M. very professional company with a high standard service highly recommended.

We had a persistently leaky shower, and we were prepared for the worst since the cartridge valve was already replaced and still leaked. When Josh Hamilton came out he didn't have an easy time right away, but never gave up. He was able to localize the leak, and fix without us having to replace any pipes. Called me 1.5 hours prior to be appointment. I was still at work and unable to answer so they canceled me. Didn’t even leave a message. The online booking said they would call 30 min prior to arrival so that’s what I made myself available for. Left me hanging without water. Won’t attempt to use again. Do not recommend.

We experienced TWO flooding events in the span of 12 hours. The second occurred in the middle of the night--1:30AM. We phoned Dauenhauer at the suggestion of our regular plumber, and they actually answered the phone(!), then called back in a few mins with news that a team of two was wrapping up, and would call us before heading our way. Our wait time was about 2 hours; but when they arrived, Keith and his assistant quickly determined our sump pump was damaged beyond repair, and replaced it in short order. In addition to their expertise, this team was professional and courteous as can be, leaving us with peace of mind. We are so grateful!

Very positive experience. Marvin called within the arrival window I'd been given to let me know he was on his way. He was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I appreciate the tips he gave on everyday maintenance we can do to improve the health of our plumbing. Highly recommend. I was able to get a same day appointment for a clogged kitchen drain.

Jacob is professional and worked hard to assist us with our plumbing repair. He went out of his way work with Home Serve to resolve our problem with an old pipe that needs to be replaced. When Home Serve declined the work order for the replacement of the pipe, he scheduled a follow up appointment for the next day to clear the clog. Before he left he spent time explaining the issues with the existing drainage problems to me and my wife and guided us on some issues that we need to consider if Home Serve agreed to replacing the clogged pipe in the future. Dauenhauer Plumbing is a quality company and Jacob represents their high quality standards and service.

We were very impressed with this company. They came out over the weekend to resolve an issue with our shower. The tech communicated very well, and gave us several options for the repair. He focused on fixing the problem right but not costing us more money. We'll use Dauenhauer again!

Gary Gividen replaced the bathroom faucet in an old pedestal sink. He explained the process and completed the install without issues. He's a very nice young man and did a great job for us.

Jacob was prompt and professional. He quickly fixed the outside faucet and then went to work on the two faucets we needed installed. He worked diligently until he was done. He did not get to finish cleaning up but that was because we had to leave.

We had a total of 5 plumbers from Dauenhauer come out to our house for one project, basically to give and estimate, then their opinions on how to tackle the problem we were having, and then perform the work. Every single person was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They performed the work very thoroughly and in a very timely manner, and they were so incredibly careful of the surrounding spaces, making sure not to scratch or dent anything around the work area. They had to jackhammer our basem*nt floor around and in between some recently painted and finished walls and cabinets, along with some tile floors so we were a bit nervous. They did an amazing job overall though and we highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I had lost the use of all water. Since everything, toilet, bathtubs, sinks, were backing up into my basem*nt sewer drain. This problem happened late on a Friday afternoon. What a mess to clean out my basem*nt. First I called a different plumbing company. They said they were closed on the weekends and I would have to wait until Monday. All weekend without water or bathroom facilities. I remembered Daunhouer's commercial. You can call Dauenhauer any hour. I called and they set up appointment for the next morning, Saturday. When Thomas and Nick arrived. I took them on a quick tour of the problem. I showed them the clean out plug. But they said do you have a clean out plug behind the washer? I had no idea. They looked and found one, they said perfect. They immediately got to work. Removed the sludge from the stopped area. Had me test my toilets and bathtub for several minutes. When everything was back up, they noticed my sump pump wasn't pumping anymore. They adjusted the float and it started up. Thomas was very professional and knowledgeable. Prices were a little steep, but it was worth it.

Great technicians, because they are paid well by sky high prices. I thought there was an issue with my HVAC but it turned out my thermostat wire was unintentionally cut during some renovation work. The tech told me they would “help me out” and reconnect the wires instead of running new wire because it would “be way cheaper.” It was $300. I looked at the wire, and it was reconnected with plastic caps! I could have done this! When I called later and asked what new wire would have cost and why the cost to reconnect with plastic caps was so high, the customer service representative told me that she had no idea because the ‘system’ tells the techs what the charge and she isn’t a tech. I requested to speak to management twice, and nobody ever reached out to me. I accept some blame here and learned my lesson of always verifying cost before work but have cancelled my membership with Dauenhauer, because I can’t believe they left a customer (and member!) so unhappy with the service.

We had two techs (Joe and John) out to clean our ducts and they did a great job. Were on time both days, worked efficiently, stayed as out of the way as possible and cleaned up everything as they went so there was never a mess. Very happy with the work that was done!
