The Ornate Garden Designer Paper is so pretty! Use it with very little stamping to make this lovely card for a birthday or any occasion.
Cut Cardstock:
- Card Base: Flirty Flamingo – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer (card front): – Whisper White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- First Layer (inside): Whisper White – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Second Layer: Flirty Flamingo – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Third Layer: Whisper White – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Squares: Flirty Flamingo – 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ , cut four
- Ornate Garden Designer Paper (small flower design) – 1 3/8″ x 1 3/8″, cut four
- Greeting: Whisper White – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
- Inside Strips: Flirty Flamingo – 4″ x 5/8″
- Ornate Garden Designer Paper (small flower design) – 4″ x 1/2″
Assembly:
Emboss the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder, then layer it onto the 5 3/8″ x 4 18″ piece of Whisper White cardstock using snail. Do not adhere to card base yet.
Use the Subtle 3D embossing folder to emboss the 3 1/2″ square piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Use snail to adhere the Ornate Garden Designer Paper squares to the Flirty Flamingo squares. (I chose to use opposite sides of the paper on two of the squares to provide a coordinated contrast). Evenly space the squares onto the embossed 3 1/2″ square of Whisper White cardstock, adhering with dimensionals.
Attach this to the embossed Flirty Flamingo layer using dimensionals. Tie a piece of Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon around this piece and tie into a bow. See photo for placement. Use snail to adhere this piece to the card base.
Using Memento ink, stamp the greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto the 2 1/2″ square piece of Whisper White cardstock. Crop with the intricate square frame from the Ornate Frames dies, then adhere it to the card front using dimensionals.
Place one small Gilded Gem on the greeting. See photo for placement.
Inside:
Use Memento ink to stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto the remaining piece of Whisper White cardstock. Layer the Designer Paper strip onto the Flirty Flamingo strip using snail, then snail onto the top of the stamped piece. Use snail to adhere the completed piece to the inside of the card.
Envelope:
Use Memento ink to stamp the small flower image from the Ornate Style stamp set onto the lower left corner of the envelope. Randomly color the flowers using the Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends markers. Color the leaves with the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends marker.
I hope you enjoy making this card! Be sure to check out my other designs using this Designer Paper.

I just saw one of your tutorials on Pinterest . While I was reading it a pop up flashed on the screen about a virtual show. Is that something that you do?
