Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs that there is.
And it’s also one that is highly undervalued.
But there are those that understand what a difficult and tireless job parenting can be.
Grammy-nominated country music star Thomas Rhett is one of those people.
That’s why his wife, Lauren Atkins, is his hero.
He watches his wife handle the ups and downs of caring for a baby and two toddlers day in and day out.
And she even does it with a smile on her face.
Even when she’s getting puked on.
He posted a picture of his wife covered pretty well by a good amount of baby puke while smiling for the camera and holding their youngest child Lennon Love who was born in February.

“You are my hero,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
It ended up going viral and was liked more than 637,334 times.
“Looks like Super Mom” wrote one Instagrammer.
“Don’t miss those days,” said one mom. “And yes, all mothers are heroes.”
And the feelings that Rhett has for Akins are mutual.
“Just a little grateful post for my husband of the year because I’m still sick at almost 32 weeks (although not as bad as it was PTL) and it’s getting a LOT harder to move around these days, plus I’m not wanting to miss out on any of #themostwonderfultimeoftheyear and Thomas Rhett has basically been Santa’s elf, cooking, doing baths and the girls’ bedtimes and still making time to take me on a date. Even if we skipped out on the movie and just went to bed instead #momanddadlife. Thank you for loving our little growing family so well honey. We LOVE you.”

Atkins isn’t the only one in that house doing the hard parenting stuff.
Rhett has also had his share of parental duties and being vomited on.
He even shared a picture of him holding his baby with puke running all down his back.

“Everything’s fine,” he wrote for the photo’s caption.
That photo also went viral and was shared more than 557,600 times.
“That ain’t nothing, Bro. Talk to me when it’s projectile poo,” one Instagrammer wrote.

So, Rhett and Atkins are each other’s heroes. In addition to Lennon, Rhett and Atkins have two other children.
Willa who is 4 and Ada who is 2.
“It was such a joy to watch this little angel be brought into the world,” Rhett said of Lennon.
