Who should play Rogue in the MCU's X-Men reboot?
As development continues on the Marvel Cinematic Universe-set reboot of the X-Menfranchise, fans continue to voice their picks for who should play the iconic mutant superhero team, including Rogue. While some minds may gravitate to the likes of Jenna Ortega or Millie Bobby Brown for the role, I'd personally be intrigued to see Mckenna Grace's take on the character, as she's not only shown an incredible acting range in the recentGhostbustersmovie andA Friend of the Family, but also an interesting mix of introverted and extroverted personalities with her characters that I think would suit Rogue perfectly. Additionally, given the MCU has recast actors in the past, Grace's prior role as a young Carol Danvers could easily be a non-issue.

Do you want to see Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok ahead of Nosferatu's release?
New character posters have been released for the upcomingNosferatu, and yet Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok has yet to get a proper full look. I personally hope that the studio keeps him completely under wraps until the movie's release, as it's clear that the design is going to be very different from that of prior versions, and I would love for it to be a surprise while watching it, especially if it's as horrifying as I think it will be.

Is Henry Cavill's Superman suit better than David Corenswet's?
It has been revealed that David Corenswet auditioned to become the DCU's Clark Kent in Henry Cavill's Superman suit. We now have seen quite a few set photos and videos of David Corenswet's Superman costume, as well as an official image shared by DC. I prefer the brighter tone of Corenswet's Superman suit, as well as the addition of Superman's classic red trunks. However, I'm not a fan of its baggy look, and Henry Cavill's sleeker costume is better in that regard.

Is Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom good casting?
During Marvel’s 2024 Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. will be playing Doctor Doom in the MCU. Though Doctor Doom is a good replacement for Kang, Robert Downey Jr.’s casting has caused mixed reactions. I’m happy to see RDJ back in the MCU, but I might have a hard time seeing him as anyone but Iron Man. I hope Doctor Doom will be an Iron Man variant in the MCU rather than the franchise ignoring Robert Downey Jr.’s history as the superhero.

Is Jensen Ackles playing Batman in the DCU?
Batman will debut in the new DC Universe's The Brave and the Bold movie. The Boys star Jensen Ackles has been rumored to play Bruce Wayne, which James Gunn, the DCU's creative chief, has shot down. Ackles could still be cast as Batman; however, no actor has been chosen at the moment, with casting for the new Batman only starting when the movie has its script ready. Based on his dark and action-heavy roles in Supernatural and The Boys, as well as being the voice of Batman in DC's animated Tomorrowverse, Ackles would be perfect for the DCU's Dark Knight.

When will the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer release?
After a two-year wait,Sonic the Hedgehog 3's release is finally right around the corner, currently set for a December 20 date, and yet no proper trailer has been released for the threequel by Paramount, save for a brief snippet of footage shown at CinemaCon in April. Though there is some concern this is pointing to a release date delay, I think it's more likely Paramount is saving the trailer to be released around the same time as Transformers One, given the prequel's family-friendly tone and leaving just enough time untilSonic the Hedgehog 3's arrival to build anticipation.

Who should play the DCU's new Wonder Woman?
Gal Gadot is reportedly not coming back as the Wonder Woman of the new DC Universe. With the role up for grabs, there are a few actors who could take Diana Prince in interesting directions. A fan-favorite, Alexandra Daddario would nail the Greek mythology aspects of Wonder Woman's character after her role in the two Percy Jackson movies. That said, Andor's Adria Arjona is the candidate I currently like the most for the role, being able to imbue Diana with charisma and fierceness, which are both traits of the hero. Ana de Armas would be a great high-profile Wonder Woman choice.

Which game character should Sonic the Hedgehog 3 introduce?
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is right around the corner and all eyes are on the incoming arrival of Shadow the Hedgehog, who will be voiced by Keanu Reeves. That said, though, there are a number of cast actors whose roles have yet to be confirmed, as well as a variety of game characters who have yet to appear in the franchise. I personally am holding out hope for Amy to appear to see how the filmmakers tackle that dynamic, and the already-cast Krysten Ritter could prove an interesting take on the character.

Has The Monsterverse become too Kong-focused?
Despite kicking off the franchise with Godzilla, the Monsterverse has steadily become more focused on Kong than any of the other monsters and Titans, particularly with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and Skull Island on Netflix. As the franchise gears up to expand with a new movie, Monarch season 2 and Apple TV+ spinoffs, some are hoping for Godzilla to return to the focus, and I couldn't agree more. With each new movie, Kong has been fleshed out as a hero while Godzilla's ties to humanity have remained ambiguous, and it's time for him to get the same treatment.

While I think 2006's Running Scaredmay be his most underrated movie to date, I think 2001'sJoy Rideis definitely my favorite, as it had a great Hitchcockian vibe to it and had a very tense pacing, with Walker and Steve Zahn also having great rapport as brothers.

What is the most underrated war movie of all time?
War movies like Apocalypse Now and Saving Private Ryan stand out as the most distinguished war films of their respective eras, but there are some unbelievable classics that slipped through the cracks and never achieved commercial popularity. Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line is my favorite war movie and it's one that I insist is underrated and underappreciated. Not only is Malick one of the most impressive visual directors ever, but the cast is filled with A-list actors, and it's got a stunning musical score

I totally understand that the age gap between Georgie and Mandy was a hot topic inYoung Sheldon, but I feel thatGeorgie & Mandy's First Marriagebrings it up far too often. It's great that the age-gap sitcom trope has been subverted, as normally, it's the male partner who is older than the female. However, I'm getting a bit fed up with all the constant digs about Georgie's age, especially from Audrey. Obviously, it's a big thing in their relationship, but I feel like it's overdone already, and we're only five episodes intoGeorgie & Mandy's First Marriage.

Do you think Iron Man saw Lady Death at the end of Avengers: Endgame?
When Iron Man sacrifices himself and dies at the end ofAvengers: Endgame, it seems as though he likely met Lady Death herself, Aubrey Plaza's character who made her debut in Marvel's newAgatha All Alongseries. Coming from the original comics, Lady Death is the embodiment of death itself charged with guiding those who've crossed over to the other side. To that end, I think this means that Lady Death has been there for every major MCU death, including Iron Man's (though perhaps she doesn't always present herself so directly as she did with Alice Wu-Gulliver and Nicholas Scratch).

Is Desmond Hart a villain in Dune: Prophecy?
It's weird because, at this point, we've practically seen more of Desmond than we have Valya Harkonnen, and even though she's the main character, it's hard to think of her as being on the good side. Of course,Duneis never that simple, but from the show's framing, I imagine Desmond will end up being a highly sympathetic antagonist who goes to extreme lengths to do the right thing.

How do you feel about the From season 3 finale?
The From season 3 finale was intense from start to finish, with lots of big reveals and a heartbreaking ending. Finally, fans were able to see what has been going on with Tabitha's pregnancy, and while I anticipated it might be a monster, I never thought it would be the return of Smiley, and that he would grow up almost instantly. Tabitha having been in the town before did not come as a huge shock, but Jade did. And, of course, the sudden death of Jim was devastating. To end the season on such a huge cliffhanger has me glad that season 4 is in the works. This show seems to just get better and better. I am thrilled they stuck the landing this season, giving us just enough answers in the finale, but still having us begging for more.

What do you think about the rumors that Kraven won't have any Spider-Man or SSU ties?
It's been rumored that Sony's upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie won't feature any ties to Spider-Man or to the greater Sony Spider-Man Universe. While that is pretty disappointing, my expectations for Sony's universe have fallen massively low. At this point, I'm just hoping for a good story where Aaron Taylor-Johnson delivers a strong performance.
