2018 GRAMMYS

“What are we doing tonight? Tequila shots? It’s a Grammys party, let’s get f-cking wild,” asked an over-zealous bartender well-past midnight on Sunday night. And yet, he wasn’t wrong; if ever there were the time to get, well, “f-cking wild” on a Sunday night in January this was it: the Universal Music Group Grammys after-party presented by American and Citi with support from Remy Martin. and held at Spring Studios. The giant event space had been transformed into a makeshift club for the night, complete with secluded, sectioned-off seating areas, a non-stop stream of the year’s biggest pop hits (DJ-ed, at one point, by Erykah Badu), and plenty of celebrities letting loose. There was Lorde, holding court on a plush gray couch, surrounded by her mom and sister; Calvin Harris, towering over the crowd and hanging out with a crowd of well-dressed dudes; Dua Lipa, toasting to her week ahead, where she’ll serve as musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Also in attendance: Dave Chappelle, Sting, Sarah Silverman, Darren Criss, Zedd, Eve, and plenty more. Before heading inside to let loose, most stopped by the red carpet, where photographer Dina Litovsky captured some rare, calm moments before the true debauchery began.
