Instructions:

  1. Preheat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F. Melt a whole stick of butter.
  2. Wash and cut cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, add flour, seasonings and almond milk. Whisk until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, pour breadcrumbs.
  5. Add the cauliflower pieces to the first bowl with the batter. Using a wooden spoon, toss the cauliflower until all pieces are nicely coated.
  6. Then take each piece, one by one – and roll it into the bowl with breadcrumbs until it’s nicely coated.
  7. Using the deep fryer, fill the basket evenly. You may have several batches. You don’t want them to go into the basket on top of each other. ONE layer only.
  8. Dip the cauliflower into the hot oil for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden in color.
  9. Dump the cauliflower onto a paper towel to rid any excess oil.
  10. Take the melted butter and hot sauce into another bowl and whisk.
  11. In another large bowl, pour fried cauliflower into the bowl, drizzle with hot sauce and lightly toss until each piece of cauliflower is coated with sauce.
  12. You can add as much you’d like, or less.
  13. Serve with your favorite sides and dipping sauce. Enjoy!
