The Grammy Awards is a huge thing worldwide. Tons of people literally wait all year round just for the event.

They watch all the films, they listen to all the songs, and they rate every actor or actress' acting, and come the Grammy Awards season, they see if their bets checked out. That's how some people are dedicated to it.
In all fairness, there is so much to look for at the Grammy Awards.
For fashion enthusiasts, they'll be looking at what their favorite stars will be walking down the red carpet with and how well they'll be pulling it off. For the film buffs and music lovers, they'll be waiting to see if their favorite film of the year or favorite actor or actress will get the coveted Grammy award.
It's such a huge and crazy event and there's so much that goes into it that it's hard to imagine that it'll all go along just nicely. Since its inception, there have been times when something so amazing has happened and there have also been other times when something so cringy has graced the stage of the Grammys.
From walkouts to stars being delivered in egg pods, here are some of the craziest things to happen in Grammy history.
Jennifer Lopez (2000)
J. Lo wowed the world and left thousands of people speechless with this now iconic plunging Versace jungle-print gown. In fact, it was so iconic that people searched it so much that it led to the creation of the Google images search engine.
Eminem & Elton John (2001)
It's hard to imagine these two sharing a stage given how different their dominant genres are, however, they did take the stage together for the Grammy Awards in 2001. Both musicians have said that they bonded over their shared sobriety and their performance also spawned a lifelong friendship.
50 Cent & Evanescence (2004)
While the band was giving their speech after winning and beating the rapper for the Best New Artist category, 50 Cent took to the stage. Moments later, he smoothly walked back down to his seat to a round of applause.
The band also gave him a shout-out but it's safe to say somebody was upset they didn't win that night.
M.I.A. (2009)
Singers have long performed while they were pregnant but they don't usually do it on their due date. The "Paper Planes" rapper did just that, however, in 2009 when she performed "Swagga Like Us" with Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and T.I.
Fortunately, the baby waited a few days before popping out.
Lady Gaga (2011)
The iconic singer really upped her game in 2011 when she arrived on the red carpet in an egg pod. Models in gold ensembles carried the pod through hordes of people to the stage area where the artist crawled out to perform.
Macklemore & Kendrick Lamar (2014)
Macklemore really didn't expect The Heist to win Album of the Year, however, it did win much to his surprise. He even texted Kendrick Lamar to tell him that he should have won.
"You got robbed. I wanted you to win," the star told his competitor. "You should have. It's weird and it sucks that I robbed you."
Drake called the public apology "wack as f--k."
Beck & Kanye West (2015)
When Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards of 2009, he got a lot of flack. Maybe that's why he changed his mind when he took the stage to take the mic out of Album of the Year winner Beck.
Beck didn't mind and even welcomed the rapper to speak his mind but Kanye simply returned to his seat as people looked on in astonishment.
Beyonce (2017)
When Beyonce performed "Sandcastles" and "Love Drought" at the Grammys in 2017, she was heavily pregnant with twins Sir and Rumi but she still looked heavenly in the gold shimmering dress and crown. While all her performances are loved, this one is definitely one of her most memorable ones.
Adele (2017)
In 2017, it was down to Adele and Beyonce for the Album of the Year but in the end, Adele won out. "I'm very humbled and I'm very grateful and gracious. But my artist of my life is Beyoncé. And this album to me, theLemonadealbum, is just so monumental," the British singer said.

George Michael's death really hit Adelle hard and while performing "Fastlove" as her tribute to the late singer, she got choked up. She even swore and asked to start again even though the show was being broadcast live.
"I'm sorry for swearing and I'm sorry for starting again," Adele said. "Can we please start it again? I'm sorry, I can't mess this up for him. I'm sorry. I can't. I'm sorry for swearing. I'm really sorry."

Demi Lovato (2020)
Almost two years after surviving a near-fatal overdose, Demi took the Grammy stage to perform a powerful performance of "Anyone" which marked the first time she sang live again since her hospitalization.
No matter how scripted or how well-organized the Grammys is, there are just no stopping spontaneous moments like these from happening. You've got all these different people in the room with different emotions and different personalities and you're bound to get some reactions.
It's all fine though since it's really something the world expects of huge events like these. it would actually be weirder if something didn't happen at all.
